BLOG: Sex Tapes, Vibrators And Up Skirts Oh My!

Publicity stunts are nothing new, they’ve always been around but it seems in the last year or so they’re getting dirtier, nastier & just plain bizarre.

The trend a few years ago was going commando, Britney did it, Lindsay, Paris and still today paparazzi have a new angle to go for, that stunt has made it hard for celebrity woman to just get out of the car without the risk of their vagina being on every gossip blog & magazine to be picked apart “oh that’s a mess” “looks like ham” people zooming in to analyse their lady bits - but on the other hand there are some celebs that will take what they can get and consciously make the effort to not wear undies and “accidently” get out of the car with it all on show – Next day their name & bits are everywhere!

Sextapes are another goodie. Who was Paris Hilton & Kim Kardashian before we saw how they were in bed? Even though a lot of people weren’t amazed by the tapes it put them on the map well and truly to the point it’s encouraged girls to make them to get themselves famous like Lawerence Fishburne’s daughter Montana who straight up said “I’m releasing my sex tape to get famous, I wanna be an actress”

Made the tape. Sold it. Now everyone knows about it – Whether the reaction is good or not she got one.

Also Guilty - Heidi & Spencer are trying to sell a sextape of themselves & Heidi in some girl on girl action with Hugh Hefner’s ex girlfriend trying to stay relevant after The Hills ended without them.

Sex tapes are a sure winner to get yourself famous!

The latest member of the Publicity Whore train has gotta be Taylor Momsen – Don’t get me wrong I LOVE her band The Pretty Reckless but the girl is going about getting attention for her band in a weird way – being extreme.

Taylor is grabbing headlines by declaring she “fucked a priest once” which caused international outrage then it was an 18yr old saying “My vibrator is my best friend, I think woman should be able to equally pleasure themselves as much as men”

Going from one extreme to the other this week she’s dissing Rihanna because she wears a leather jacket. Can’t she just shut up and let her music do the talking?

The sex tapes, The Beef, The Sex, The Upskirts is this what we’ve come to? The only way to get our attention? Surely not!
