New Zealand owned and operated, GameSwitch.co.nz services New Zealand and Australia by allowing gamers to come together and swap games for their real value, not the pocket change you're given by the big game stores.

They use an internal Point system - not cash - to make sure you receive full market value for your games. You don't have to find a trading partner to "swap" games with: you trade your games for Points, and then use the Points to request other games from other members!

What's GameSwitch all about?

GameSwitch provides Kiwi and Australian gamers a fair and fun trading website for console games. Members trade their games for GameSwitch Points, then use their Points to get other games from other Gameswitch Members. It is free to offer games - Members only pay a $3.50 transaction fee (known as a Trade Token) for each time they receive a game.

How does it work? - Offer your games

Any of your games you would like to trade you can do so by browsing or searching for the game, then clicking 'offer this game'. This process is FREE and makes your game available for others to request. Each game is given a Points value. When another member requests your game you are given their address. Pop it in the post to them and when they receive it the trade is completed. Once the game has been received the stated Points are then deposited into your "wallet". You can then use them to get the games you want!

How does it work? - Getting the Games You Want

Browse or search the games database and add games you want by clicking 'I Want this Game'. If the game is available you can request it straight away (This process costs 1 Trade Token and the associated Points) alternatively GameSwitch will notify you when the game is offered by another member.

Earning Points

By trading a game you'll earn between 150-1000 points. Point values are determined by a number of factors but, in short, newer games are worth more points.
