A new game has just stormed onto the pages of Facebook. The Jack Daniel's Virtual World Tour became available to play today.

This epic music journey around the world allows everyone to live the rock star life. The aim is to start a band and strive to become the most famous with the most JD dollars and the most fans.

If you're the one to rock out the Tour and come out on top, you and three mates will be flown to Tennessee to go to the Bonnaroo music festival with VIP access, a cool golf cart to get around with and a luxury RV tour bus to stay in. Then you'll be off to a tasting at the Jack Daniel's distillery and lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House. And yes, all expenses paid.

You play how you would in real life - you start your band, promote by sharing with your Facebook friends, practice at The Manor, gig in venues from small bars to massive stadiums and use the JD dollars you earn to buy better equipment for your band from The Rock Shop.

Gig game play is simple. As the song plays, you match the notes with assigned keys on your keyboard. The more accurate you are, the more JD dollars you earn and the more fans you win. As you get better, you move your performances from New Zealand, to Australia, then Europe, the UK and then finally, America and continue to gather thousands of JD dollars and fans.

The songs you perform on the Tour come from a huge amount much loved New Zealand music from artists such as Autozamm, Steriogram, The Checks, Dane Rumble, Ivy Lies, Pistol Youth, Black River Drive, Artisan Guns and plenty more. If you get into any of the music you play, you can go to York St and purchase the song on iTunes.

The competition is open until January 30, 2011 and a winner will be announced in early February.
