New Zealand's largest drum n bass party PHAT11 is back!

The PHAT11 Festival will open on Wednesday 29 December 2010 & run non stop over 4 nights until Sunday 2 January 2011.

Set in the lush pastures of west coast rain forest, Inangahua, kids from North and South will scrimp their pennies for months on end just to make the premier event.
INANGAHUA is on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. INANGAHUA is approximately 3 hours drive west of Christchurch, one hours drive east of Westport, 2 hours drive south of Nelson or 3 hours drive south of Picton. For the Northies its a breif boat trip south with plenty of excuses to suck up Aotearoa's best scenery along the way.

As for the drum n bass, electronica, and dub step. In short it has not failed to please yet.

Everyone has a Phat story to share and its enough for anyone to naturally want to know more. So far the line up dark dirty and you'll be wearing a hint of drum n bass all over your face! With more acts to be announced the line up so far is looking relatively polished.

BLack Sun Empire(NL), Excision (Canada), Dastik (Canada) Evol Intent (USA),Camo & Krooked (Austria),DIGITAL (UK), The Upbeats, Concord Dawn, State Of Mind, Bulletproof, Minuit, Salmonella Dub, Truth, Optimus Gryme, Agent Alvin, Dunsta, Organikismness, Trei, Teknik, Dose, Electric Wire Hustle, Benny Tones, Wicked Draw, Olie Bassweight, Emma Green, Alion, Gomoorah, Soulsystem, Sanchez Switch Nacoa, Double Negative, Oscar The Grouch, Funknslocuts, JMC, Hendi, Aunty Ethyl, Mr Sqautch, Philter, Ninjastep, Tweq V Pysmon Barnet, Anikin, Spoonhead, Subversion, Solid State, Sick Cycle, Left Or Right, Habit, Borderline, Titts Mcgee, Badred, Civil Din, Acetech, Mojo, Dubkrimes, One Vive, Drop, Distortion.

New Zealand has its fair share of star acts with many of them having released new material this year. A prime example is Jay Bulletproof, blowing up the NZ charts with his new dub step album Soundtrack To Forever. Huge. Jay sets out to show that a drum n bass boy can make noises too. A must own album before trekking off to Phat11.

Other goodies to check out are Camo & Krooked, Olie Bassweight, Black Sun Empire, Minuit, Optimus Gryme and Excision just to name a few.

Word of warning that isn't the full line up with more international acts to be announced.

This is one of the only festivals where you can isolate yourself in bush paradise yet have 4 days of music madness. Indeed a win/win. If you want to sign up to the free weekly newsletter where you get advance notice of discounted tickets & upcoming events just email phatclub@ts.co.nz.

If you don't fancy yourself a fan of bass, epic tunes or madness, do yourself a favour... Stay home.
