Johnny Knoxville and his buddies are up to their daredevil comic antics again. And this time they’re coming at ya’ in 3D with the appropriately titled Jackass 3D. Just when you thought you've seen everything there is to see from the Jackass guys, the entire cast of the previous two movies are back for another throw of the dice (and each other) in the biggest, baddest and most dimensional Jackass ever. Director Jeff Tremaine has reportedly had a lot of fun playing with the 3D cameras and the stunt filming began in earnest in January this year. Bam Margera, one of the regulars who joins Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Wee Man and others on their crazy adventures was reported as already having broken three ribs less than a month into filming.

FILM: Jackass 3D

Tuesday , 10 Aug 2010

The addition of 3D to the new film will raise the mayhem factor to new heights, promises star/producer Johnny Knoxville. “We’re going to take the same 3D technology James Cameron used in AVATAR and stick it up Steve O’s butt. We’re taking stupid to a whole new dimension.”

2002’s Jackass: The Movie earned more than more than $64 million and was heralded as “a disgusting, repulsive, grotesque spectacle, but also hilarious and provocative. God help me, thumbs up"  by esteemed critic Richard Roeper. The 2006 sequel Jackass: Number Two, earned over $72 million and was heralded by The New York Times  as being “debased, infantile and reckless in the extreme". One can only imagine what the critics will label it all in glorious 3D.
