The first flick that Slash is releasing is called 'Nothing to Fear' and is about a young family who relocate to rural Kansas to get their lives back on track, but end up tormented by an ancient killer demon.
In a statement the axeman commented on his decision to try his luck in film.
"I've always been a huge horror fan, and creating films that take you back to the days where horror movies actually scared the hell out of you is something I've always wanted to do."
The films will be targeted at his core fanbase "of young, edgy, discerning consumers, with an appetite for quality and a hint of anarchy."
