FILM: The Lincoln Lawyer Synopsis & Movie Trailer

Matthew McConaughey is back in the court room but this time he's not going up against the KKK (A Time To Kill) but is trying to  decipher the truth out of one of his clients; a rich LA realtor charged with murder. The film has a rather impressive support cast with Marissa Tomei, William H. Macy, John Leguizamo and Ryan Phillippe to co-star alongside McConaughey.

Here's the official synopsis for the film.

Mickey Haller (Matthew McConaughey) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of a lifetime: defending a Beverly Hills playboy accused of murder. But the seemingly straightforward case suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival for Haller. "The Lincoln Lawyer" is based on the best-selling Michael Connelly novel.

It's good to see McConaughey in something a bit different to all those rom-coms he's been putting out over the years. And its equally good to see a trailer that doesn't give away the whole storyline.
