Hot off the tail-end of his US tour, glam-pop revivalist, Adam Lambert, is making an anticipated visit to New Zealand with a full-tilt show resplendent with glitter, leather and melodrama at Trusts Stadium on Sunday 17th October in Auckland. GIG: Adam Lambert Announces Auckland Gig

Tuesday , 07 Sep 2010

Hot off the tail-end of his US tour, glam-pop revivalist, Adam Lambert, is making an anticipated visit to New Zealand with a full-tilt show resplendent with glitter, leather and melodrama at Trusts Stadium on Sunday 17th October in Auckland.

Since the announcement of Lambert’s string of Australian shows only weeks ago, the response from New Zealand fans has been overwhelming. So much so that when the majority of tickets for shows were snapped up during the pre-sales for the Australian shows, conversations immediately began between promoters and management about what arrangements could be made to reach out to more fans.

Adam Lambert rose to stardom after finishing runner-up in 2009's American Idol, and since then releasing his debut album "For Your Entertainment" which debuted at number three on the billboard charts.

Audiences can expect to see an audio-visual spectacular, both theatrical and atmospheric, when Lambert takes the stage with his playful melodrama conjuring up nods to Sixties psychadelia, Seventies disco and Eighties glam-goth.
