Puppeteer brings horror to the Capital

Scream In Black Productions presents Tauranga’s premiere Groove/Thrash Metal band Puppeteer w/guests at Bar Medusa, Wellington on Friday the 13th.

Horror movies & heavy metal have often been forms of entertainment closely associated with the same fan base but the Tauranga thrash metal band “Puppeteer” upon their first visit to the capital will be combining the two to create a stage show to remember.

Throughout the 1980s Friday the 13th meant one thing to Horror fans… It meant the story of Jason Voorhees (The hockey masked killer of the Friday the 13th films) would have another chapter added to the series. On Friday 13th August, Puppeteer will reinstall this feeling for horror & metal fans alike by performing a set inspired by the Jason films complete with hockey masks, a stage set & a very special one off song about Jason himself.

Puppeteer have been going through strength after strength after the last few months & gained interest from the NZ Metal Army, Paul Martin (The Axe man), Metal After Dark amongst many others. This is a band to keep your eyes on as they move into the next stages of band life. With the release of their debut album “Tucked In By Brutality” last March the band begun an extensive tour, being booked up until the end of 2010 with dates all around the North Island.

Puppeteer brings Friday the 13th to Wellington.
