LISTEN: Metallica & Lou Reed's First Single 'The View'

A few months back Metallica announced they were teaming up with rock n roll godfather and The Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed to record an album together.

Seen as both acts are legends we were quietly excited to hear what they had in store. Well we have now got our first preview from the unlikely combination with the release of first single 'The View'.  Listen to 'The View' below.

We're holding our judgement till we hear the rest of the record but are currently a bit fifty fifty on whether we like this or not.

The album entitled Lulu is set to be released next month of the 30th of October.
