NEWS: Adele Reaches Number One In The NZ Charts

Double Grammy winner - Adele gets the big thumbs up from the New Zealand public as her album '21' soars into the number one slot this week. Other territories to hit the high note include Ireland, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Austria with more confirmations to come.
In her home territory of the UK, Adele’s album had gone platinum within a mere 3 days of it being released and sailed into the number slot with album sales totalling more than the rest of the Top 10 albums combined.
With all of New Zealand’s major radio networks now playlisting the single, Rolling In The Deep, Adele’s success is looking great!
In the new issue of Rip It Up, hitting shelves on Monday (7th February) Stephen Jewell talks to Adele about her new album. About the imminent release of her new album; Adele told Stephen “It’s a bit like standing in the middle of Times Square butt naked,” Adele declares with a raucous laugh. “It’s my own fault because I always write about myself and my own experiences. But I’m dead excited as well.”
