NEWS: Arcade Fire Release Third Studio Album

Arcade fire is gearing up for the highly anticipated release their third studio album The Suburbs on August 2nd on Spunk in Australia/NZ. The Suburbs was written, arranged and recorded in both Montreal and New York and was produced by the band themselves with Markus Dravs on board as a co-producer. 

‘The Suburbs’ is the long anticipated follow up to their 2007 album ‘Neon Bible’ which hit the Billboard Hot 100, and took the UK by storm, with its debut at #2.

Their 2004 debut ‘Funeral’ was just as successful and has featured strongly in Album Of The Decade polls. Both albums were nominated for Best Alternative Album at the Grammy Awards following their release. In support of the release of 'The Suburbs', Arcade Fire are hitting the stage again, headlining Reading and Leeds Festival at the end of August.

The Suburbs is set to release August 2, 2010.
