NEWS: Artisan Guns Stream Auckland Gig

To celebrate their 2nd EP "Hearts" on their national tour the band is launching a unique online concert for fans by streaming their show in real time over the Internet for the first time. In support of the project is ‘Grab A Seat’ who has supported the act with some cool technology and overall launching the band around the country. The band commences their tour in Wellington on 16th July and then take in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown.

The Auckland show on July 17 is going to be broadcast on the band’s website artisanguns.com The online experience will also feature some candid interviews and comments from the band and their views on their latest creation.

Drummer Alexander Freer, Vocalist and Lyricist Matthew Hope, Guitarist Jonathan Pearce and Bassist Reuben Stephens have developed a reputation as a hard working band, constantly on the road back and forth from Australia and wanted to offer fans who cannot make their gigs to at least have the opportunity to see the band play live and for those regional areas of New Zealand they can at least enjoy the band in this unique performance setting.

It’s been an eventful year for the quartet. In typical Artisan Guns fashion they have recently toured Sydney and Melbourne and then go back to Australia after their NZ July tour to perform with the Australian band Hungry Kids Of Hungary on their national tour in early August.

Their latest single “Without You” is receiving good airplay over the B Net stations across the country achieving their 2nd top #20 airplay position on the ALT radio chart this week. Watch out for their new music video launching soon.
