NEWS: Bloc Party To Reform For New Album

Thursday , 07 Apr 2011

Bloc Party
guitarist Russell Lissack has told NME that the band has already started work on new material and will reassemble in September.

Lissack, who has been biding his time playing live with Ash recently had this to say. "Kele and I started working on Bloc Party stuff together and separately". He added, "We're having a bit of a break until the festivals are over, because people have commitments during the summer, but we're going to get back properly in September and sit in a rehearsal studio to work on new band material".

The last single the band released, 'One More Chance', came out in 2009 just before the band went on hiatus.
