NEWS: Boy George Reachs Out To Adele To Quit Smoking
Tuesday , 29 Nov 2011
Boy George has reached out to Adele to encourage the 21 singer to give up smoking in order to prolong her singing career.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Boy George has said “If you’re a singer and you smoke it really isn’t a great idea. I gave up smoking six months ago which was the best thing I ever did. I used to try to convince myself it made me sound jazzier. It was very difficult to give up but I’m so glad I did.”
The singer who is widely known for her love of cigarettes has previously spoken about how much she enjoys smoking and even went as far to say she'd sooner give up singing then stop smoking.
Adele was forced to cancel the rest of her 2011 tour dates and promotional appearances because of the recurring problem which required the starlet to undergo vocal cord microsurgery to stop recurrent bleeding from a benign polyp in her throat.
