NEWS: Bruce Springsteen To Get Into Politics?

More than 30 years after Bruce Springsteen wrote his rock anthem ‘Born to Run’, a poll has shown that he could have been hinting at something.

A recent poll has shown that if Springsteen was to run for Governor of New Jersey, he would come home strongly in a race against current Governor, Chris Christie.

‘The Boss' was added to a Public Policy Polling survey conducted between the 15th and 18th of July for fun, and received 42% of the votes, which was the same percentage as Christie, but showed that the ‘Thunder Road’ legend would win easily as he had much higher favourability ratings.

Springsteen has not yet indicated as to whether he plans to stand or not, but has been openly critical toward Governor Christie in the past.
