NEWS: Chris Cornell To Perform Two Unplugged NZ Shows

Chris Cornell is on his way to New Zealand for two solo shows in Auckland and Wellington this October.

Famous for his work as frontman of legendary rock bands Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple Of The Dog, Cornell will be performing alone on stage and will give fans the chance to see the singer unplugged, up close and personal.

Fans maybe disappointed that Cornell wont be bringing the newly reformed Soundgarden down under but these solo shows will be a special treat with Cornell performing songs from throughout his career - including his solo albums Euphoria Morning and Carry On, his bands Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, plus some "surprise covers".

Tickets for his Auckland and Wellington shows go on sale 9am Friday 10 June. This will be one of the most anticipated shows this year and tickets will sell out quick - so don't miss out!

Chris Cornell was last in New Zealand with his full band as the opening act for two Linkin Park shows at Vector Arena in 2007.
