NEWS: Dave Grohl - "You shouldn't have to do f---ing Glee"
Tuesday , 22 Mar 2011
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has come out on the offensive launching an expletive-filled rant at the creator of Glee, Ryan Murphy.
Dave Grohl responded angrily when asked about Kings Of Leon’s recent feud with the Glee boss, who reacted badly when the Tennesse band refused to allow the hit show to cover 'Use Somebody', calling the rockers “self-centred a**holes”.
Grohl is furious that Murphy took him to task for refusing to let the show play the band's music and slammed the shows creator for his attitude towards signing up bands. "It's every band's right, you shouldn't have to do f---ing Glee".
Grohl joins a growing list of rockers who aren't keen to jump on the musical bandwagon. Grohl adds "The guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his f---ing show... F--- that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee. Maybe not everyone loves Glee. Me included."
On a brighter note, the Foo Fighters are in the country to perform a special one off show at Auckland's Town Hall tonight to raise money for the Christchurch Earthquake Relief Fund. Legends!
