The New York based rapper is back in the country to promote The Rose Tint and will be joined at both shows by fellow Tui Award winner P Money.

Tui Award winning hip-hop artist David Dallas has finally released his highly anticipated new studio album The Rose Tint last week. The album was made available for free download from www.daviddallas.net at around 9pm on Wednesday evening (NZ time) and has been met by unprecedented demand, having already clocked up over a staggering 8000 downloads in just over 24 hours.

The new album features the singles 'Til Tomorrow', 'Sideline' featuring Che Fu and the current radio single 'Caught In A Daze' featuring American MC Freddie Gibbs. Currently back in New Zealand for a short stay, David has announced he will be playing shows in both Auckland and Wellington before returning to the U.S. (Details below)

David, now based in New York City, recently inked a deal with prestigious U.S hip-hop label Duck Down Music. Since relocating last year he has been impressing stateside audiences and industry folk alike. His talent has since been recognized on some of the worlds most influential hip-hop sites including Nah Right, 2dopeboyz, XXL, The Source and 50 Cent’s own This Is 50 amongst others. He recently won an MTV U.S online poll, being voted their ‘Iggy Artist Of The Week’. His music video for the song 'Big Time' also being added to rotation on all MTV networks across the U.S - a huge break for any new artist.
