NEWS: Entries For The 2011 Smokefreerockquest Now Open

Entries for the 2011 Smokefreerockquest are now officially open!

The Smokefreerockquest is an annual competition for high school-age (up to 19 years old) bands throughout New Zealand.

The first Rockquest was held in 1988 and since then the event has since grown to have twenty-two regional finals, from Northland to Southland, and has paved the path to mainstream media for many bands and artists such as Bic Runga, Brooke Fraser, The Checks, The Datsuns, The Electric Confectionaires, Elemeno P, Anika Moa, Zed, Nesian Mystik, Steriogram and Midnight Youth.
