NEWS: First Teaser Poster For The Dark Knight Rises Revealed

The first official poster for The Dark Knight Rises has been released and judging by the imagery it looks like Gotham City is set for some destruction. Check out the poster below.

The sequel to 2008's mega-hit Batman film The Dark Knight, isn't scheduled to hit theaters until July 20, 2012 - but director Christopher Nolan is already ramping up the excitement levels with this early teaser of whats to come.

With a phenomenal cast on board (including Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Marion Colltard) and a more than steady foundation from the first two films to build from, The Dark Knight Rises is sure to be one of the biggest movies of 2012.

The only bad thing is we have over a year to wait till we see it.
