NEWS: Foals Bring New Album To Laneway 2011

Tuesday , 08 Nov 2011

Foals, the five piece indie band from Oxford, England will be performing tracks from their new album Total Life Forever at The Laneway Festival 2011. Total Life Forever follows the band's debut album Antidotes and was released in May this year to high critical acclaim. Q Magazine commented on how the band's sound has matured calling it "the schizophrenic second album".

We gave the album 4 ½ out of 5 in the August September issue and you can read that review by Benjii Jackson in full here.

'Spanish Sahara' is the epic track used to promo the album back in April but the first official single was 'This Orient'. Other singles include 'Miami' and '2 Trees'. You can watch the band performing the title track from the album, live on BBC 6 Music below.

Foals will be playing at The Laneway Festival 2011 on Monday 31st January 2011 at Aotea Square, Auckland.
