NEWS: Glam Rockers The Darkness Set To Reform

Monday , 14 Mar 2011

UK glam rockers The Darkness are in the process of getting back together...we think. No official announcement has been made about their plans, but the band have recently launched a new website, theactualdarkness.com and a new official Facebook page, Facebook.com/thedarknessofficial.

Frontman Justin Hawkins famously left the band in 2006 due to catastrophic problems with drugs and alcohol causing an ongoing feud with brother Dan Hawkins (guitarist).

A similar rumour surfaced last year about a possible reunion, only for singer Justin Hawkins to call the rumors “essentially horse shit". However this latest rumour continues to gain traction. In addtion to the website and facebook page Justin Hawkins recently tweeted, “Darkness actual news coming soon!” so watch this space.

The Darkness are best known for their 2003 hit single 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' off their No1 selling debut album Permission to Land.
