Tuesday , 05 Oct 2010

The largest music festival in Europe, Glastonbury 2011 has sold out within four hours of tickets going on sale. Glastonbury 2011 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton in the UK. Billed music takes place on June 24-26, with the site opening on June 22.
Headline rumors have already been surfacing, with Irish rockers U2 being the favorites.

A gap in their touring schedule would allow them to play Glastonbury and their manager Paul McGuinness has also commented on the band's website hinting "We're certainly excited about our plans for next year. Watch this space!"
The band, who were supposed to headline the festival this year but pulled out after frontman Bono injured his back. Gorillaz took U2's place on the Pyramid stage last year.
