NEWS: I Am Giant Release Debut EP

Rock band ‘I Am Giant’ released their highly anticipated debut EP into stores this week, just before they hit the road with Luger Boa and Black River Drive as part of the State of Rock Tour.

Based in London, I Am Giant consists of New Zealanders Shelton Woolright (Blindspott), Paul Matthews (Stylus and Tadpole), Aja Timu (Blindspott, The Gaze) and Brit Ed Martin (Volume).

The 5 track EP has been available on ITunes since early this year and has already sold over 4,000 units digitally. It contains the hit ‘City Limits’ which was an A rotate on the Rock for nearly 5 months, is Number 10 in ‘The Rocks Best Kiwi Songs of All Time’  and has received over 60,000 views on Youtube.

The video to the new single from the EP ‘Neon Sunrise’ features world surf legend Kelly Slater and is currently the third highest researching song on the Rock and has hit over 30,000 views on YouTube in only a month!

I Am Giant recently performed the EP as a live session on XFM in London and have just returned from Vietnam where they performed at two Tiger Translate gigs –  a tour diary of their adventures is featured on Myspace (thanks to Flip Video)

The City Limits/Neon Sunrise EP will also be released in Australia and Asia via Sony Music.
