NEWS: Jambalaya Festival At Corban Estate Arts Centre
Tuesday , 15 Feb 2011Jambalaya is a music and dance festival jam-packed with international and national acts, top international dancers, workshops, music, circus performers, and market stalls.
The festival village will come to life from March 5th - 6th, 2011, in the magical grounds of the Corban Estate Arts Centre amongst the lush bush of the Waitakeres, West Auckland.
The Corban Estate Arts Centre is an amazing venue: You will discover native bush glades, workshop warehouses, an underground wine cellar and an historic Mexican church. Plus, this year you can camp right on site, and the Western train line stops five minutes down the road.
Children under 13 are free (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Camping Pass
The Jambalaya campground is set amongst shade trees with a permanent toilet and shower block. Five minutes walk from the festival site; it makes it easy to feel like you are out of Auckland and in festival land…
While the festival might be going all night, the campsite will be a place to relax, quiet, friendly and securely fenced with 24-hour security.
Your camping pass allows you to camp Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, and Sunday 6th. The pass is $30 per person regardless of how many nights you camp. Children under 13 are free (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
Your camping pass also gets you entry in to the Friday night pre festival party, which is exclusive to campers and Jambalaya Summer Camp participants.
If you have booked a camping pass please see the website for directions to the site, you can go there directly and present your camping e-ticket at the gate.
Remember, this is a Zero Waste event - think carefully about what you bring on site: No Alcohol (there will be bars on site)
Bring all picnics and water in reusable containers. Water refills available onsite. BYO coffee mug - you may even get a discount for having one.
Parking will be $5.00 per car which goes directly in to our environment plan fund. We encourage you to carpool or take public transport instead - info on the Jambalaya website.
