NEWS: Joanna Newsom To Appear In The Simpsons

Simpsons creator Matt Groening curated the All Tomorrows Parties music festival earlier this year. The British festival takes place at the Butlins holiday camp in Minehead was started by Belle & Sebastian in April 1999 (when it was called the Bowlie Weekender).

Matt Groening's line up included !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Modest Mouse, The Shins, Deerhoof, Iggy & The Stooges, Joanna Newsome any many more.

It would appear that Matt is quite a fan of Joanna Newsom as he has invited the 28 year old singer-songwriter, pianist and harpist to appear on the Simpsons.

Joanna confirmed that she would take Matt up on his offer in Malibu Magazine.
