NEWS: John Mayer Has Deleted His Twitter Account

Seven time Grammy Award winning musician John Mayer has officially deleted his twitter account leaving 3.7 million followers behind.

Mayer, one of the social network's main supporters in its early stages, is now said to be focusing on writing and recording his fifth studio album now that his "Battle Studies" Tour has come to an end.

Mayer continues to communicate with fans through his blog on Tumblr, where the singer/songwriter wrote Sunday, "Time to (try to) disappear for a while. Love you guys. A lot."
