NEWS: Justin Bieber & B.o.B To Play MTV Video Music Awards

MTV announced that pop-star Justin Bieber and MC B.oB. will be performing at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday 12 September in Los Angeles. The two first time performers will join previously confirmed acts Kanye West, Drake and Florence and the Machine.

The awards, which are celebrating their 27th show this September, have had a history of controversy since Madonna's revealing performance of Like A Virgin in the original 1984 show. Most notably last year, the show was marked by current performer Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

Continuing in the tradition of the unexpected, MTV has chosen late-night comedian Chelsea Handler to host her first prime-time show. The network also released that Ke$ha and Twilight star Ashley Greene will be among the night's famous presenters.
