NEWS: Kanye West Discusses New Film Runaway

It seems as though Kanye West is everywhere lately, taking to twitter to reach out to fans, promising new songs every friday, colloaborating with hip-hop superstars and most recently closing out the MTV VMA's with a performance of new track 'Runaway'.

If all of that's not enough, to coincide with the upcoming release of his fifth studio album he is planning on dropping a 40 minute film titled 'Runaway' that he has filmed recently in Prague.

Last night, West discussed the details with New York Magazine, "It's the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth, and I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world."

West then went on discuss his fall from grace last year which is said to be a major theme for the upcoming album, "I've been feeling the idea of the phoenix," he said. "It's been in my heart for a while. It's maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person."
