NEWS: Kanye West To Release A New Song Weekly Until Xmas

Kanye West has announced (via his official Twitter page) that he will be releasing a new song every weekend in the lead up to Christmas.

"I know y'all need the music so I'm dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song, it may be a new Jay song, etc,"

Kanye later announced that he is currently working on projects for Pusha T, Raekwon, Mos Def, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams.

This news arrives as the world waits in anticipation of Kanye's 5th studio album that has yet to be named. Apparently, the rapper is also in the process of creating a movie to accompany this album release.

Kanye West is due to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, September 12 at 9 p.m. The appearance marks his VMA return after a notorious onstage interruption during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for her VMA Award.

Justin Bieber and B.o.B are also set to play the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
