Friday , 09 Jul 2010

American Rock band Korn are set to stream a gig they recently played in a crop circle. The band hit up crop circle creators Circlemakers.org to create a crop circle near their hometown of Bakersfield in the US. They will stream the performance they recorded on their MySpace page, Myspace.com/korn, on July 12.
"The setting and the mood took us into a totally new direction musically," frontman Jonathan Davis said. "We took the opportunity to stretch out and experiment with the performance. I don't think we'll ever be the same. He added: "We spent a lot of time fooling around in the wheatfields and cornfields surrounding Bako when we were kids, and it gets pretty spooky out there at night. That's where we got the inspiration for the whole thing, so we decided to have some fun with the viral videos."
According to the bands Guitarist, James 'Munky' Shaffer doing so made the band feel like they were on "some new frontier musically and This is definitely going to add a new dimension to our live shows."
