NEWS: Lady Gaga Creating Controversy With New Video
Tuesday , 12 Apr 2011
Pop Queen Lady Gaga is ruffling feathers again, this time with religious groups about an upcoming video for her new single 'Judas' - although the irony is they havent even seen the video yet. Gaga is set to play Mary Magdalene in an upcoming music video alongside actor Norman Reedus who will play the role of Judas.
Last week Gaga posted a video showing her encounter with a Christian protester, who was picketing one of her shows. The clip ends with Gaga saying "Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin". Watch the video below.
President of the Catholic League of Religious and Civil Rights, Bill Donahue had this to say about the matter: "People have real talent, and then there is Lady Gaga. I find Gaga to be increasingly irrelevant. Is this the only way to jet up her performance? This isn't random, we are getting closer to holy week and Easter".
Is Lady Gaga going to far or is she just expressing her creative freedom?
