NEWS: Libertines Pete Doherty Charged With Cocaine Possession

Libertines and Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty has been charged with possession of cocaine following a separate police investigation.

The investigation was focused on the death of young, female filmmaker Robin Whitehead who was filming a documentary of the libertines. Reports suggest that the woman was found dead in Doherty's London flat due to a drug overdose which police believe Doherty supplied.

Two of Doherty's associates have also been charged with possession of cocaine and after posting bail, all three are now due to appear in court on October 18.
