NEWS: Metal Health 2011 Show Feat. Quiet Riot, Warrant & LA Guns Is Cancelled

The Metal Health 2011 show featuring the US Heavy Metal / Hard Rock acts Quiet Riot, Warrant & LA Guns scheduled for The Powerstation on Monday 2nd May 2011 has been cancelled.

The Metal Health 2011 show was being promoted by Australian promoters Intense Impact. Intense Impact initially fulfilled all obligations required of them by the Powerstation and Ticketmaster to allow them  to stage an event at the venue. This allowed them to announce and promote the show, and publicly issue tickets.

In the last month, it became apparent on many levels , that  Intense Impact were not equipped, nor experienced, to stage this event. Their ability to deliver this show, by meeting their responsibilities to ticketholders, the artists and local suppliers became severely compromised, and the show is now cancelled.

These circumstances are unfortunate and were not under the control of the venue. The Powerstation apologises for any inconvenience caused by the actions of Intense Impact.
