NEWS: Metallica Ready To Bring The Party To Christchurch

Christchurch Metallica fans get excited because the band have promised to bring the party for tonight and tomorrow's shows at the CBS Canterbury Arena.

"You can call it therapy, you can call it whatever you like. We're there to help, man. We're there to bring the party. We're bringing the metal to Christchurch," said bassist Rob Trujillo.

"We're very excited and can't wait to get there. I know you guys have been through a lot and we're going to make it all good," he added.

After a huge facebook campaign to bring the heavey metal rockers to Christchurch, when only Auckland shows had been confirmed, "added fuel to the fire in a positive way" said Trujillo.  There was an option of going to Asia but due to the massive amounts of enthusiasm coming from Christchurch, they couldn't pass up the opportunity.
