NEWS: Michael Jackson's Doctor Conrad Murray Sentenced To Four Years In Jail

Michael Jackson's former doctor Conrad Murray has been sentenced to a four year prison sentence after being found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the 'King of Pop' in 2009.
The prosecution successfully argued that Murray had caused the star's death through negligence. The Jackson family attorney read the following statement at todays hearing: "We still look at each other in disbelief. Is it really possible he is gone? We are not here to seek revenge. There is nothing you can do here today that will bring Michael back." In terms of the sentence, the family said: "We respectfully request you impose a sentence that reminds physicians they cannot sell their services to the highest bidder."
Despite getting the maximum sentence being handed out, Murray will not spend an entire day of his four year sentence in prison because of California
Explaining the sentence Judge Pastor said, "There are those who feel Dr. Murray is a saint. There are those who feel he's the devil. He is neither. He's a human being."
Michael Jackson died on June 29th in 2009 due to an acute propofol intoxication after he suffered a respiratory arrest.
