NEWS: MySpace Choice Awards Winners Announced

MySpace have announced the winners of the second annual MySpace Choice Awards. An opportunity for MySpace users around the nation to vote for their favorite NZ artists, the 2010 MySpace Choice Awards saw thousands of votes cast with experiential rock set Mint Chicks taking out the 2010 overall MySpace Choice Award.

Comprising of eight categories: Comedy, Hip Hop/RnB, Indie, Pop, Rock, Roots, Dance/Electronic, Up and Coming and ‘Your Choice’ the winners across categories were an eclectic mix of popular signed and unsigned talent.

With over 30,000 Kiwi artists and around 5 million global artists on MySpace, The MySpace Choice Awards are an extension of MySpace’s commitment to celebrating and supporting local talent and providing Kiwis with a platform to discover and share great music.”
