NEWS: New Music Video by Barb

New Zealand’s cream of musical talent combine to create the mysterious indie group BARB. Individually, band members Liam Finn, Lawrence Arabia, Connan Mockasin, EJ Barnes and Seamus Ebbs are worshipped masters of their craft and have earned their stripes through their many musical accomplishments. The idea to piece together their individual talents was born when the fivesome all happened to be living in London, and a whole three years later we have BARB. We’ve heard bits from the band but we’re desperate to hear more!

BARB’s first official musical offering from their upcoming album comes in the form of the meandering, wistful ‘LEO’. The track was born while jamming on the road in the middle of their NZ tour in 2009, and relates to one of Connan’s alter-ego’s deluded fantasy of being Leonardo DiCaprio’s bestie.
