NEWS: OK Go & The Muppets Make The Perfect Team In New Music Video

Jim Henson's crazy gang of characters have returned and are racing back to cinemas with the upcoming release of The Muppets out on January 5th 2012.

To celebrate the upcoming movie starring Jason Segal and Amy Adams some of today’s best artists have joined forces for a tribute album to our favourite furry lil friends.

Muppets: The Green Album features 13 all time great Muppets songs, performed by some of today’s best artists. Kicking off with a raucous rock version of ‘The Muppet Show Theme’ performed by OK Go, the album also see’s ‘The Rainbow Connection’ being done by Weezer and Hayley Williams (Paramore), ‘Halfway Down The Stairs’ taken on by former Evanescence singer Amy Lee, and ‘Bein’ Green’ tackled by Andrew Bird.

Also contributing to the album are Alkaline Trio, The Fray, The Airborne Toxic Event, Matt Nathanson, and Missy Higgins, among others. Check out the hilarious video of OK Go's version of the 'The Muppet Show' below.
