Philip Seymour Hoffman isn’t focusing on winning another Academy Award following his Capote success.

The 43-year-old actor portrayed the title role in 2005 biographical smash Capote, which documented writer Truman Capote researching for his 1966 book In Cold Blood.

Philip won numerous gongs for the portrayal, including the prestigious best actor Oscar. As much as he appreciated the award, Philip admits he isn’t preoccupied with receiving another accolade.

I’m glad I got to experience it, very cool, the coolest thing that’s happened in my life, but if it doesn’t happen again, that’s OK”, he told the Summer edition of Total Film.

Philip found the prize to be the perfect reward for all his hard work on the picture. Nevertheless, he warned actors that scooping the coveted best actor award is terrifying. “It was satisfying because we worked really hard on it, but I wouldn’t wish that moment on anyone”, he added. “It was unbelievably frightening!”.
