NEWS: Rhythm & Vines Line Up Coming 12 August

Monday , 02 Aug 2010

Thursday 12 August is the day you’ve all been waiting for, the day (or rather the night) we announce the monster line-up for this year’s Rhythm & Vines.

Eager fans waiting for news on who’ll be headlining New Zealand’s biggest and best New Years Eve festival can view the MTV-produced launch video on R&V’s Facebook page from 8pm that evening.

But in a tantalising taste of things to come, BW Campgrounds, home to thousands of R&V festival-goers, has announced some of its very own line-up of the hottest Kiwi acts around.

A festival within a festival, this year’s BW Camping Festival sees local acts Kora, The Black Seeds, Sola Rosa, The Checks, P-Money, State of Mind (Live), The Upbeats and Mt Eden Dub Step (plus more to come) performing over four nights from 27 – 30 December at the campground’s Jim Beam Sound Shell - and all free for BW campers.

And if that’s not enough to tickle those taste buds, legendary UK dance act, The Freestylers joins the BW line-up!

Rocking clubs and parties for over a decade now, The Freestylers are still one of the most exciting names in dance music. They've had Top 20 chart hits, headlined big festivals, sold half a million albums, toured the US supporting Lenny Kravitz, and were the first electronic act to play fully live on legendary BBC TV show Top Of The Pops.

More than 7,000 of you have already purchased your spot at BW and tickets are bound to sell-out, so get in quick to be part of the hottest Kiwi summer camping experience around.
We’re pumped to have such a killer BW line-up to help kick-off possibly the most rocking New Year’s week of music this country has ever seen.

But we’ve got so much more up our collective sleeves!

So tune in on Thursday 12 August from 8pm to the R&V Facebook page and website, MTV or ZM websites or live on ZM from 7-8pm, and make sure you’re first with news of who’s playing at this year’s R&V and our very exciting new R&V Protégé competition.
