NEWS: Rise Against Announce Auckland Show For July

American punk legends Rise Against have announced that they will be playing a one off show at Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre in July.

The Chicago quartet comprised of Tim McIlrath, Zach Blair, Joe Principe and Brandon Barnes will return this year for their first headlining tour since their completely sold out show in 2009. Expect to hear old and new songs alike with new album 'Endgame' out 11 March from Universal.

Rise Against’s previous release 'Appeal To Reason' (2008) debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200. 'Endgame' features the band’s trademark conscientious breed of punk rock infused with heaving riffs and lyrical dexterity.

To add to the excitement, legendary hardcore punk band Sick Of It All will be joining Rise Against on their Winter tour. The band, formed in 1986, is one of the most revered heavyweights within their genre and their longevity is as renowned as their classic New York hardcore anthems.
