NEWS: Ryan Adams Is Back! And Is Working On A New Album

Revered singer/songwriter Ryan Adams has called an end to his official hiatus from performing with the announcment of a 12 date solo tour around Europe in June.

Adams dissolved his band The Cardinals and declared plans to step away from the music industry to focus on his writing work shortly after marrying actress/singer Mandy Moore in March, 2009.

According to an email update from the artist's own Pax-Am Records, Adams has revealed he's in the studio working on new material with with the help of legendary producer Glyn Johns (Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones).

Fans of Adams will be rejoicing at the prospect of new Adams material. Although announcing his desire to step back from music Adam's has continued to release some material. In May last year the enigmatic singer songwriter released a metal-leaning album called Orion, and in December released III/IV. A double-disc collection of unheard songs from 2006 recording sessions for the album Easy Tiger.
