NEWS: Smashing Pumpkins To Record New Album

Alt rockers, Smashing Pumpkins, have announced that they will be releasing a new full length album around September.
In a video blog posted on the bands facebook page, frontman Billy Corgan announced that the band will record 9 to 11 songs for the new album which will be titled Oceania.
Corgan has also announced that the bands pre-break up discography will be reissued and remastered with extra tracks. This means that albums from Gish through to Machina II will be available by 2013.
Corgan stated “We’re going to reissue all the albums. o by Christmas this year, Gish, Siamese Dream and Pisces Iscariot will all come out reissued, remastered, with some extra tracks, unreleased things. And then in 2012, you’ll see Mellon Collie, Aeroplane Flies High, and Adore… And then in 2013 we’ll have Machina I and Machina II”.
