NEWS: Solo Album For Brandon Flowers

The Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers has shed some light on the details of his first solo album. He first revealed his solo plans via The Killers' official website , strategically placing a countdown clock on their homepage.
Flowers has been working with numerous producers including Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers' 'Day & Age' album), Daniel Lanoid (Bob Dylan, U2) and Brendan O'Brien (Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen). Together this collaboration of expertise, have helmed various aspects of the album and have recently been discussing some song titles for the upcoming album, which will be named 'Flamingo'. 'Hard Enough' and 'Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas' are some of the songs bound to be included, with the unique guest vocals from 'Rilo Kiley' singer Jenny Lewis. Flowers announced that the album would also include a gospel song.
'The Killers' are currently dipping into solo projects of their own, with some members developing a new group, with elements of Mumford And Sons, Keane and more.
The frontman is gearing up for the albums release around Spring, with Flowers saying that he is has a bunch of solo shows lined up to promote "Flamingo" around its release, as well as festivals in 2011.
