NEWS: The Fourmyula Join NZ Music Hall Of Fame

Iconic 60's pop band The Fourmyula are soon to join the likes of Johnny Devlin, Ray Columbus and The Topp Twins in the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

The group, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of their song Nature this year, will be inducted at the Silver Scroll Awards on Wednesday in Auckland.

Formed in Upper Hutt in the mid 1960s, The Fourmyula earned the title of New Zealand's Beatles for being the first local band to record their own material, they were highly successful in their era with ten of their 14 singles breaking into the the New Zealand top 20.

Their most recognisable song "Nature" was voted New Zealand's greatest pop song ever in 2001.
