The Rolling Stones
celebrate 50 years since their first gig, today!
They started playing the blues in English bars in 1962
with original line up Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Dick Taylor, Tony Richards and Ian Stewart.

Since then the band has sold more than 200 million records globally and are one of the longest standing bands in history.
Only two original members complete the band now, Jagger and Richard, who are both pensioners.

A photo exhibition and documentary are set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band.

Rumour has it that a final tour will also be happening in 2013.
