NEWS:The Smashing Pumpkins Confirmed For Auckland Gig

Grunge legends The Smashing Pumpkins will be returning to New Zealand shores to play a one off show in Auckland on October 19th.

After reforming in 2005 the band is lead by founder and sole original member Billy Corgan, but now features a whole new ensemble including drummer Mike Byrne, bassist Nicole Fiorentino and guitarist Jeff Shroeder. This lineup is currently touted by the media as the best Smashing Pumpkins reincarnation yet.

The band last toured here in 2008 with Queens of the Stoneage, playing at Aucklands Vector Arena, this time around though they are downsizing to the more intimate Auckland Town Hall.

Frontier Members will have access to a pre-sale from 9am until 5pm Monday 27th September. Tickets will then be available to the general public from 9am local time, Tuesday 28th September.
