NEWS: Tiki Taane Joins Up With Paw Justice In The Fight Against Animal Cruelty

Thursday , 08 Sep 2011

For all the animals out there without a voice and for all the people out there tired of not having their voices heard as they rage against the ever rising, ever more abhorrent incidents of animal abuse, Paw Justice and Tiki Taane have joined forces as a formidable team to create and deliver a voice for them.

New Zealand’s own multi-platinum award winning artist Tiki Taane teams up with New Zealand’s most vocal and bold animal charity in a visionary new project to mark Paw Justice’s two-year anniversary.

Since their launch, Paw Justice has strategically positioned themselves as an organization that the youth of New Zealand, as well as all other generations, listen to. This intentional collaboration with Tiki Taane, is another example of Paw Justice’s commitment to educating NZ’s youth on their responsibilities for animal welfare.

Inspired by his track 'Starship Lullaby' and his commitment to help the children at Starship Hospital, Paw Justice approached Tiki earlier this year about a collaboration to do the same for animals.

Keenly aware of the power of music and the ability it has to transcend generations and cultures to positively influence and educate people, the Paw Justice Tiki team are giving Kiwis the opportunity to be heard when they speak out against animal cruelty by inviting them to contribute to the lyrics of this new, soon to be hit, song.

“This will be people speaking to people, from their hearts, about their feelings on animal abuse.” says Paw Justice co-founder Craig Dunn. “If these abusers aren’t going to listen to the law, or their own conscience or even have the sensibilities to know that what they are doing is wrong, they should at least have the ability to listen to one of New Zealand’s greatest performing artists. And we want everyone to know Paw Justice will not stop until the message gets through!”
